CLASS OVERVIEW
There is more than one approach to heat styling curls and highly textured hair. Heat Styling for Curls 101 is a two-day intensive designed to expand your technical expertise in heat styling while maintaining curl retention and texture integrity.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Develop a foundational understanding of hair as a fabric and the importance of density and texture differentiation in heat styling
Destigmatize and deep dive into all the must-have tools for your kit and when, why, and how to use them
Learn what products and application techniques will deliver excellence with hair prep, finish, and longevity
Learn how to create David’s quintessential waves on type 3 texture, how to pre-stretch and silk press type 4 texture, and supplemental cutting techniques

Completion of Expert Curl Care prerequisite is required
Face mask required during class
COVID-19 test must be taken within 72 hours of class date; negative results must be provided before arrival
Additional self-administered COVID-19 test will be provided for testing upon arrival
Live demo and hands-on segments
Class time: Day 1: 9 AM – 4 PM EST; Day 2: 9 AM – 6 PM EST
